What we do:
We refer and connect affluent investors with boutique opportunities in private real estate, equity, and credit. These are not ordinary deals that you will find on the platform supermarkets of private investment available to general investors today.
These offerings are sometimes known as club offerings due to their tight availability to access. They tend to be priced more equitably in partnership with investors, with longer proven track records, and unmatched transparency on project underwriting to ensure additional comfort and confidence.
Why Private INvesting:
Why did you originally show interest in private placement investing. What drove you to this interest initially?
Was It the:
1. Desire to invest where the majority of investors don’t have access? Opening new doors where others can’t?
2. Access to invest in potentially non-correlated asset classes that don’t move in lockstep with the traditional stock and bond markets?
3. Or the desire to further diversify a well-built portfolio to reduce risk and volatility in the face of unforeseen local or global events?
Who we are:
After more than 30 years in executive leadership roles with some of the top financial firms in the U.S. and Canada, I have decided to launch J-Dor Private Capital. Understanding what it means to put clients first is the bedrock of our firm.
Our mission is straightforward: to introduce and refer affluent investors to carefully selected, boutique private investment opportunities available today. As an independent firm, J-Dor Private Capital is non-biased and not beholden to any single fund-raising company or platform. We work solely on behalf of investors seeking this type of exposure.
We review opportunities daily and focus only on those that demonstrate transparency, realistic projections, and a disciplined approach to risk. Our role is not to “sell” an investment, but to assist clients from their side of the table—providing insight, context, and support—so they can decide what makes sense for them.
